Great Ideas Built To Last

Safety

“Safety is embedded into our daily lives and in order to be responsible we must strive to make safe construction methods an integrated part of our work.” -- Jesse H. Ross, President

The Ross Group is committed to providing a safe working environment for its employees, subcontractors and anyone associated with a project. OSHA, USACE, and all other safety regulations are strictly enforced. TRG employees undergo safety training as part of the orientation program, continuing through employment with the company. The company also offers First Aid/CPR and OSHA training classes so that all employees have up-to-date and relevant safety training. Continuous safety education is the cornerstone of The Ross Group’s safety program.

TRG strongly believes that safety should never be sacrificed in order to meet budget or schedule constraints. TRG's safety program is administered and regulated by a full-time safety manager. The company also employs a full-time environmental safety engineer. TRG's safety program is designed with the objective of zero accidents and injuries, and as a result, the company has an industry leading EMR rating.

Safety and incentive programs such as the TRG Hearing Conservation Program have been developed to provide TRG employees with even stronger safeguards. Because safety is so important to TRG, the company has created an internal safety recognition program that rewards employees for their diligence and dedication to maintaining a safe working environment. This proactive approach helps demonstrate the company's firm commitment to mitigating safety issues; thereby, positioning the company toward continuously reducing its Incident Rate and Employer Modification Rate.
